Around mid-tide, there's a perfect lagoon at Cleethorpes on the busy Humber Estuary. You're never out of your depth, so it's a popular beginners' venue, although local regulations have sadly zoned kites to south of the Leisure Centre. There is a thriving scene on the deep water channel at 'Humberston Beach' though.
