Midway between Fårö and Visby, a good beach-break develops at Ireviken in strong north-westerlies. West-north-westerly storms can produce Baltic Sea epics, although conditions get tough as the onshore wind is pretty gusty inshore – it gets more consistent further out. In less wind, it's half as gnarly though.
