Karadere is a hidden jem – few people come here, so the long sandy beach has retained its natural charm. It's also a turtle nesting area, so stay well away from the marked protected areas. Windy season from April to November delivers reliable cross-onshore conditions, making Karadere an option if it's too weak in 'Calis'. Windy onshore days can whip up some waves and a little shorebreak. Even in winter it can get windy here, but unfortunately it's often offshore.
