Unlike 'Phalasarna', Kastelli isn't a tourist beach during summer – at most there are a few free-range goats. The locals come here for strong north-easterlies when nice waves break on the reef at the harbour. The only sandy take-off is to the left of the bay, but you can ride across in one long run.
