The long beach of La Barrosa is a very popular spot when west to north-westerly Poniente is strong enough, or in south-south-easterly Levante. The offshore island hosting Castillo de Sancti Petri slightly absorbs W to NW swell, usually keeping it below the 2m mark. There’s a kite ban from June to September, but your chances of good conditions are better out of season anyway. The most popular launch is in front of the Red Cross station.
