La Caleta
Costa de la Luz, Cádiz
Auszug aus dem KITE AND WINDSURFING GUIDE:
The small city beach of La Caleta, straight in front of the university in Cádiz old town, is a local favourite in onshore Poniente out of season. In the protection of two fortified headlands and a rocky reef, the water stays very flat in a 200m-wide channel in all but the biggest swell. Most of the time it’s choppy with a bit of shorebreak at high tide. At low tide the reef exposes and space gets tight between the anchored boats. Parking is scarce year-round, but in summer you can strike this busy beach off your list.
