Even in a good year this spot on the coast-road between La Baule and Le Croisic works just a few times, and then only at high tide. The radical reef-break can produce barrels, but there are lots of rocks and stones in the water; it’s wise to ask the locals where if you want to come back unscathed. To the right, a strong current rips out to sea.
