Only the bravest launch here too – carefully choosing exactly the right state of tide for cross-shore starboard tack waveriding. Some claim you’ll find Cotentin’s best sailing here in a north-easterly wind, but you could easily find yourself in the wrong place at the wrong time: beaten by a hefty shorebreak at high tide, injured on the occasional rock at low tide, or swept downwind towards the cliffs by the strong current.
