A radical beach-break for big wave hunters – waves can top 6m and the current is strong. When it’s big it's dangerous, so there's no shame in moving over to Le Goulien or Pentrez. At high tide the best waves break straight in front of the car-park, at low tide further north towards Lostmarc’h. South-easterly blows slightly cross-off, making the waves clean, fast and powerful – an expert's dream! North-north-easterly summer thermals can deliver a good session too; whereas onshore westerlies render the place unsailable. Don’t get over-excited and drive down the gravel track to the car-park too fast!
