La Salis, Antibes

Most people choose Cannes in an easterly, although you can ride here too. There's a harbour to the south of these two little beaches; to the north the imposing fortified city of Antibes. La Salis is getting increasingly popular with kiters, except (of course) in summer. Launch from the southern end and you can pinch upwind enough to clear the breakwater in the middle of the bay on one tack. But you need to stay focussed as the sheer walls of the citadel loom further north, with rocks, current and a wind buffer near the cape.
