Læsø is an idyllic holiday escape. Take the (surprisingly affordable) ferry from Fredrikshavn and rent a cute summerhouse for the whole family. To kite or windsurf, pick your beach to suit the wind direction. It's an easy life on the water too, as there's even perfectly flat water in prevailing westerlies.
