Larne, Browns Bay
Northern Ireland
Auszug aus dem KITE AND WINDSURFING GUIDE:
If the wind blows strong northerly for a few days before backing north-westerly, this is one of Northern Ireland’s finest venues: insane port-tack jumping (sometimes five jumps on one run!) and cross-onshore waveriding too. Launch from the west end of the bay. The water quality is often pretty suspect here too, so keep your mouth closed if you fall in! North of here is the start of a breathtakingly beautiful drive all the way to the hexagonal basalt columns of the Giant's Causeway. Spectacular scenery, but no spots until 'Bushmills'.
