Lauwersoog Waddenzee
Groningen & Friesland
Auszug aus dem KITE AND WINDSURFING GUIDE:
For the northern Dutch, the Lauwersmeer is a good alternative to the often crowded IJsselmeer further south. The most popular spot in the area is just off the N361. In north-east to south-south-westerly it's mainly windsurfers at Lauwersoog, although kiting is allowed. The shallow area inshore is quite small, so the Waddenzee mudflats are better for kitesurfing. The wind extends clockwise from to south-west to north-easterly, although you're limited to three hours around high tide.
