Wave Sailing: Great wave riding can be had on midsize waves near the shore from mid to high tide. Works with wind from the South West to South but the wind can be patchy in a Southerly towards high tide. Strong currents can take some power out of the wind so rig accordingly. The shorebreak flattens at low tide but larger swells will then break on the reefs further out.
Tides: Tidal range can be over 11m. The water reaches the slipway at around 10m and anything higher than 10.5m is pretty much un-sailable as the tide reaches the wall.
