The Centre Nautique is Saint-Brévin Bay’s northernmost venue. At low tide a sandbank that runs parallel to the coast protects against waves and chop, ideal for beginners as well as kiting. To the right behind the cape is the official kite school zone, with onshore winds in a north-westerly thermal. Freeriders launch south of the headland. It pays to watch the tides though, as staying upwind is tough with wind and current in the same direction. There's a big car-park next to the yacht club.
