Leasowe
North-West England
Auszug aus dem KITE AND WINDSURFING GUIDE:
This vast sandy beach hosts good conditions for bump-&-jump and entry-level wavesailing, with large lagoons forming below mid-tide. Facing NNW, Leasowe suits anything from south-westerly round to northerly winds, but west is best for waves and chop. It can be ridden throughout the tide, with a long walk at low water. To get here, leave the M53 at Junction 1 and take the A554 towards 'New Brighton’. Then it’s second left, signposted 'North Wirral Coastal Park’ and follow the lane round to a large car-park at the launch.
