Best conditions for clean frontside waveriding come on a few summer days when swell, sufficiently strong north-easterly and a flooding tide coincide. If you like it even gnarlier and don’t mind riding alone in extra-large swell, you can launch here in winter west to north-westerlies (cross-on to onshore) when the waves initially break way offshore before reforming in front of the beach. Kiting's only viable in high summer if the wind drives the sunbathers away.
