Facing north-east onto the Irish Sea, Lligwy is like a mini Rhosneigr for easterly winds. Mainly frequented by kitesurfers, it's one of the few spots in the region that provides consistent waves in a north-easterly. Good, clean sets – small, but perfectly formed! There's also very clean water, a new café and facilities, plus you can camp overnight right by the beach.
