Los Charcos
Lanzarote
Auszug aus dem KITE AND WINDSURFING GUIDE:
500m upwind, the locals affectionally call Las Cucharas’ little brother “The Wave Pool”. Arriving at Los Charcos at low tide (there’s a big car-park at the launch) it’s hard to imagine that anyone sails here at all. For one thing the bay completely dries out, plus it’s framed by two breakwaters creating about a 50m-wide channel. But at high tide you can count on relentless Passat (cross-shore from the left) and will happily wait your turn on the little reef for three quick turns on a super-nice wave.
