Home to Club Náutico La Horadada, this little urban beach has been one of Cantabria’s windsurfing favourites since way back as it's perfect for freeride and bump-&-jump sessions in south-westerlies. As these gusty low-pressure winds pass through, they often blast up to Force 8 here. The beach itself is well protected; just keep an eye on boat traffic when riding across the shipping lane. One of Santander’s major landmarks, 'Palacio de la Magdalena’ is right on the beach.
