Marazion
Devon & Cornwall
Auszug aus dem KITE AND WINDSURFING GUIDE:
With St Michael's Mount towering over the bay, South Cornwall's most popular location is hard to miss. A safe place to learn to wavesail, yet also high enough quality to regularly host pro contests, Marazion Beach works in all the most common wind directions – ideal in a westerly, or east to south-easterly for insane jumping conditions. The riding can be pretty good too, if not quite as powerful as the north coast. Nevertheless, in a big swell or strong south to south-westerly wind the waves can be well overhead. Best ridden at low to mid-tide, as the shorebreak can get heavy at high water.
