This popular resort boasts beaches as far as the eye can see. 'Plage Sud' is the quietest, and also the official kite zone. 'Plage Remember' to the north is rideable too, as long as you stay far enough away from the lifeguard area. At Mimizan, low-pressure north-westerlies are much weaker than up north, although the afternoon thermal (also north-westerly) works reliably.
