Muelle de El Médano

Tenerife

Auszug aus dem KITE AND WINDSURFING GUIDE:

'The Harbour Wall' marks the northern end of Médano Bay. Since launching here is only possible over the rocks or off the stone jetty, this break’s usually sailed up to from 'Playa Sur’ in a few long tacks. The waves break especially clean at low tide over a reef stretching all the way to the town’s harbour wall. They get up to 2m-high in the impact zone, while the swell outside regularly delivers 3m to 4m-high slopes for gybing onto – yet it never really gets dangerous. Overall, this spot has a pretty good vibe and the mood’s distinctly more relaxed than next-door in the bay of 'El Cabezo'.
