This sandy little beach peppered with a few small boulders is pretty secluded. It gets really good in cross-on winter low-pressure south-westerlies, when up to head-high waves run into the bay. It rarely gets any bigger in the shelter of Islas Cies and a headland to the west, although there can be a nasty shorebreak.
