Auszug aus dem KITE AND WINDSURFING GUIDE:
One of the best wavesailing locations in this area – and on its day also amongst the most challenging. South to south-easterly winds provide cross to cross-offshore sailing and big clean sets. Northerly often means flat water, although a good Atlantic swell can make for decent riding. The large beach attracts a lot of kitesurfers in various wind directions and conditions. Most tidal states are sailable, although very high tides generate a menacing shorebreak over the pebble bank. There's a good pub and campsite right beside the beach.
