Nørre Vorupør

Nørre Vorupør is a popular break in south-westerly or north-easterly winds, maybe a few degrees more offshore for down-the-line riding. On the other hand, a touch more onshore means bigger, more powerful waves. The break’s really clean though, thanks to a big rocky breakwater – launch downwind of it to enjoy the waves. If launching a kite in south-westerly winds, keep clear of the numerous fishing boats on the beach. After a session, you can join the tourists in town for ice-cream, beer and smoked fish. When it gets too crowded at Nørre, you’ll find similar conditions 4km south in 'Stenbjerg'.
