An exposed position on the southern tip of Djursland means Øerne works in all wind directions from south-east round to north-westerly. You can even catch some waves twice an hour when the fast ferry comes charging through. But it's much rougher off the water as the rutted access track is full of potholes. For a smoother ride, stay further north in 'Ebeltoft Vig’.
