Oostvoornse Meer

This lagoon was created during the Europoort’s expansion, offering freestylers and freeriders a gentle alternative to the wave spot. Parking is right by the water, and close inshore there are shallow pools enclosed by small stone jetties; perfect for trouble-free learning, while advanced riders blast about in deeper waters beyond. South-westerlies are best for the longest runs, but there’s enough space in all other wind directions too. You can also kite here, just stay away from the diving zones. It's great to have a surf shop and restaurant on site too.
