This perfect training arena offers large standing-depth areas either side of the village of Orth. The sheltered bay hosts mirror-flat water, even in strong winds – it soon warms up in summertime too. Works in all wind directions, although northerly is a bit gusty. The living is easy with five restaurants, two shops and both a kite and windsurf school; quite amazing for a village of just 64 residents.
