Promising some of Dorset's finest jumping conditions, Overcombe should be high on any wavesailor’s agenda. Facing south-east, it's a great bet in south-westerly wind as it can be up to logo-high when everywhere else is flat. The nicest waves form at low to mid-tide, whereas high water generates an evil shorebreak. In Weymouth, the alternative launch at 'Bandstands’ is better for southerlies and popular with kiters in wintertime.
