Oxwich Bay
Wales & Bristol Channel
Auszug aus dem KITE AND WINDSURFING GUIDE:
This long, wide, sandy beach is great for beginners. A headland to the SW protects Oxwich from most swell, so flat-water sailing is usually the order of the day, although that same headland makes the wind quite gusty. Waves can develop here, most often in a south-easterly, which is onshore but good enough to attract most of the area's kiters – it can get pretty crowed. Not really a surf-spot, yet capable of producing awesome barrels on the rare occasion that a huge SW swell wraps into the bay.
