South-west to north-westerly winds generate nice slalom conditions – in theory, anyway. In practice you can’t really recommend windsurfing here, at least not in high season. Pampelonne firmly belongs to 'haute société' in summertime – most of the beach is privately owned by ultra-expensive beach clubs, parking’s virtually impossible . and if you do get on the water, you’ll be fighting yachts for right of way anyway.
