Auszug aus dem KITE AND WINDSURFING GUIDE:
This popular kiting spot can be sailed in most wind directions – it's often flat or choppy, but when there's swell a relatively soft wave offers super-long, mellow rides. These vast sands hosted many successful World Land Speed Records in the 1920s, so it's worth checking out the free Museum of Speed after a session. You'll be in their car-park anyway, unless you've got permission from the beach ranger to drive onto the sands. On weekdays, a red flag means the beach is closed while the military firing range is open.
