Penthièvre, La Baie & Le Fort
Bretagne
Auszug aus dem KITE AND WINDSURFING GUIDE:
At the peninsula's narrowest point only about 50m separate the ocean from an enclosed bay, so it’s just a short walk between waves and freeride. Depending on wind direction, there’s either dead-flat water or bump-&-jump on offer in 'La Baie'. The best learning conditions are within two hours of low tide, when the shallow-water area is at its biggest. Larger tides might see you ankle-deep in mussels as the water ebbs though – and as long as there's still water under your fin, beware of the odd oyster-bed. The ocean-facing wave spot 'Le Fort' isn't spectacular; the waves aren’t quite as big as up the coast at 'Les Palissades'.
