Definitely don’t miss easterly winds in Perelli – cross-shore with clean waves running onto the coast. The waves get even bigger in south to south-easterly Scirocco, although wind and waves all push in the same direction as the beach keeps getting smaller. Perelli is nestled amidst wonderful natural scenery, far from residential areas. It only gets crowded in July and August, when you will have to consider the swimmers. Driving from Piombino, head towards 'Follonica’, take the second right after the power station and follow the canal to the coast.
