South of Pescara’s big marina, the beach isn’t too wide so kiting is banned in high season. But the off-season allows access to the water between the breakwaters and harbour-wall. If a north-easterly wind’s strong enough, a rideable mid-sized beach-break builds below the wall; it is pretty onshore though.
