3km south of the Great Dune of Pyla, this inconspicuous little spot can deliver a pleasant surprise. In low-pressure south-westerlies on a flood tide, a clean break sometimes forms in front of the Banc d’Arguin nature reserve. 'Sometimes', as the sandbars are constantly moving. Due to the current, never ride an ebb tide! In summer there's a marked kite zone.
