Les Sableaux is a good freeride spot in an easterly, and also suitable for beginner windsurfers. Kiting isn’t so easy as the beach is so small that you’ll soon end up too near the houses and trees – nevertheless, despite the official summertime ban there are often 30 kites in the sky. Beware of the mussel-beds at low tide. In northerlies, launch at the beach around the point to the left.
