With its harbours and oil refineries, the Golfe de Fos isn’t renowned for its great scenery. Even so, Plage Napoléon is a popular bathing beach that’s heaving in summer. Dead flat water in Mistral; waves in east to southerly wind. Strike lucky and you might score an awesome wave session in cross-offshore westerly, although a strong current does make it pretty dangerous.
