The sandy beach in Larmor-Plage is one of the few places in this region that offers good freeride conditions in a north-easterly – the wind’s a bit gusty, but it is cross-shore. Strong south-westerlies produce waves (and a noticeable current) in winter. A few rocks lurk on the left-hand side of the beach, which is backed by a stone wall. Kiting is banned in summer, although the gusty winds inshore aren't ideal anyway.
