On the southern side of Pointe Saint-Gildas, the small rocky bay of Anse du Sud offers a pure wave spot. Cross to cross-offshore wind blows over glassy waves, brilliant for down-the-line riding. But it’s not perfect; the wind’s pretty gusty near the cliffs so it works for surfing more often than windsurfing.
