Auszug aus dem KITE AND WINDSURFING GUIDE:
Breakwaters from both the marina to the right and industrial harbour to the left protect sandy, man-made Playa de Poniente from waves, making it a local freeride favourite. The beach drops off steeply, which sometimes creates a shorebreak. At low tide, the launch is pretty rocky and small waves build on a shallow shoal in the middle of the bay (marked by a little lighthouse). You might find better swell further out in the Bay of Boscay. Especially in summer, parking spaces are scarce along the coast-road.
