Punta Prima
Menorca
Auszug aus dem KITE AND WINDSURFING GUIDE:
When the wind veers north-easterly in winter after strong Mistral or Tramontana, Punta Prima becomes one of the Mediterranean’s best venues. Waves break cleanly over a reef in slightly gusty cross-offshore wind from left for classy frontside riding – complete with a panoramic view of the offshore island and its lighthouse. It’s worth the hassle of beating back upwind after such a fantastic waveride. In south-westerly wind, conditions are fairly ordinary with chop or rolling swell. The wind's always pretty gusty inshore, but at least further out it’s stronger than usual thanks to a cape effect.
