Quebrantos
Asturias
Auszug aus dem KITE AND WINDSURFING GUIDE:
North-easterly wind is stronger on long 'Playa de Bayas' than its neighbours – and it blows nicely cross-shore too. The waves are generally clean, but usually stay mid-sized. Many kiters also launch from the southern end at 'Playa de los Quebrantos' by the Río Nalón estuary. The waves here are smaller due to a submerged breakwater, and small lagoons offer smooth water on certain states of tide. Both launches are slightly rocky in places, but otherwise it’s relaxed outside of high season (when this lovely sandy beach firmly belongs to the sun-worshippers).
