The western harbour is one of Malmö’s most popular residential areas. Locals can windsurf or kite right on their doorstep . and as city folk, they probably don’t find cobblestone 'beaches’ so unusual either! Fortunately there are also some grassy areas to rig up on. The wind is a little gusty due to a buffer effect in front of the houses. Be sure to stay clear of the pier on the inside as there are swimmers and guests from the outdoor sauna in the water year-round. Keep away from the harbour-mouth to the east too.
