This remote kite lagoon offers sweeping views of the village on the estuary's far shore. In summer, north to north-easterly blows in well – windy days see a fair few kites in the sky, although it hardly ever gets really crowded. The only drawback is an almost kilometre-long walk in through impressive dunes. There’s a powerful tidal current in the river.
