Right beside the rivermouth, this spot only very rarely works as it needs big swell. But when it all comes together, it’s worth the 400m walk from the car-park by La Jaima nightclub. Levante is cross-off, Poniente’s cross-on, and the waves break fast and powerful – especially at high tide. It's a shame the buildings on the edge of town make the wind so gusty. Purely an out of season venue, as crowds of sunbathers mean both a windsurf and kite ban in summer.
