Rocky Point
Fuerteventura
Auszug aus dem KITE AND WINDSURFING GUIDE:
A thoroughbred break, although the name describes it well! The walk out is long and rocky, especially at low tide, when the wave packs even more of a punch and forms clean barrels. Kiters prefer to tack upwind from Flag Beach. With building swell, the challenge also increases on up to 6m-high faces. It’s understandably very popular amongst surfers year-round – have some respect, as windsurfers and kiters really are guests here. Cross-shore in west or east-south-east; north-easterly Passat blows too onshore at the foot of Corralejo Bay. On a good day, parking’s also quite a challenge in the residential streets.
