So close to Donegal Town, this place is very popular with the locals. It works in almost any wind direction, yet never really offers perfect down-the-line conditions. Best wind is north-westerly (cross-on from the right) for amazing jumping. Park on the north end of the beach, but be careful as the sand is soft and the water comes right up at high tide. Good camping facilities and loads of surf-friendly bars and restaurants nearby.
