Saint-Aygulf
Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur
Auszug aus dem KITE AND WINDSURFING GUIDE:
At last – a long, wide, sandy beach that isn't closed for kiting in high season. For that, riders happily put up with a 10-minute walk down the path to Camping Le Pont d’Argens. That's where the buoyed kite zone is: venture outside it within 300m of shore and risk a fine. The south-westerly thermal works from mid-March until early October. Saint-Aygulf bares its teeth in easterly low-pressure wind; big waves, violent shorebreak and typically stormy weather mean only the fittest survive.
